It's that time of year again! Bring your picnic baskets and blankets and join us for a patriotic evening with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra as they create musical magic under the stars with a FREE, outdoor Summer Pops Concert. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m., with pre-concert activities and concessions. Mike McKay from WDAV 89.9 Classical Public Radio will emcee the evening.
A special fireworks show will follow the Symphony Performance!
The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra has been called a "true symphony of the people" because it takes special pride in reaching out to diverse audiences through programs like The Pops Concerts & Mostly Mozart Series. The pops series features community-based free outdoor orchestra concerts. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to see a world-class orchestra right in your own backyard!
