String Ensemble (Ages 8 to 10)
The Cornelius PARC Department in conjunction with the Community Schools of the Arts is offering String Ensemble classes. This class, taught by Laurel Talley, is open to violinists with at least two years of playing experience with an interest in developing their instrumental skills and playing in a group. Students will learn pieces both by ear and through music reading with a focus on technical proficiency, musical expression, and ensemble development.
Fee: $135
When: 12-week session
Thursdays, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
September 11, 18 and 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; November 6, 13 and 20; December 4.
No class on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th.
