Break it up this spring with Cornelius PARC Department!  Pre-registration required for all events.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS:

Register ONLINE (then select the "Spring Break Activities" tab on the left).

Register in person at Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Avenue

 
Open Gym

MONDAY, April 5       10am–12pm
Bailey Road Rec Ctr   7–12 years old

Engage in a variety of activities such as basketball, jump rope, and ping-pong.  Program costs $5 resident/ $8 non-resident.

 
SK8 Clinic
MONDAY, April 5                 2:30pm–5:30pm
The Boardroom Skatepark    716 years old 

The Boardroom SK8 Clinic offers a climate controlled indoor facility with webcam monitoring to teach basic fundamentals of skating as well as tricks for intermediate and advanced skaters.  Led by the first aid and CPR certified staff of The Boardroom Skatepark.  Program costs $10 resident/ $15 non-resident.  The Boardroom Skatepark is located at 20920 Torrence Chapel Road, Cornelius, in  Shops On The Green.

 
Bicycle Safety Rodeo

TUESDAY, April 6             10am12pm
J.V. Washam Rec Ctr      512 years old

The Cornelius Police Department will teach bicycle safety techniques including bicycle inspection, helmet fitting, mounting/dismounting, straight line control, stopping, turn signals, maneuvering, and figure-8 turns.  Bring a bike, helmet, water, and wear comfortable clothes. This program is FREE!

 
Badminton Clinic

WEDNESDAY, April 7        10am–12pm 
JV Washam Rec Center    7–12 years old

Participants will receive instruction in the sport of badminton from players in the Lake Norman Badminton Group.  Program costs $10 resident/ $15 non-resident.

 
KaDi Fit Camp

THURSDAY, April 8      9am–11am
Bailey Road Rec Ctr     8–12 years old

Learn to exercise through a cardio dance workout!  Instructed by Katie Dixon, owner of KaDi Fit Studio in Cornelius.  Program costs $10 resident/ $15 non-resident.

 
Spring Into Art

FRIDAY, April 9            10am–12pm 
Cornelius Arts Center    5–10 years old

Hop on over to the Cornelius Arts Center for some creative fun!  The Community Arts Project will offer fun mixed media art centers where participants will have the opportunity to draw, paint, collage and more!  Program costs $10 resident/ $15 non-resident.
