The Cornelius PARC Department and the Children's Arts Project are pleased to present the 4th Annual Drumfest!. This exciting family oriented workshop is scheduled Saturday, May 17th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Smithville Park Picnic Shelter, located at 19710 S. Ferry Street. This event is hands-on and will feature Jim Boyce and the SilverTones Steel Drum Band.

In this workshop, Jim Boyce and the SilverTone Steel Drum Band will display their talent and abilities as they teach participants about the Caribbean style rhythm. Arts and crafts activities will be available for children, provided by the Children's Arts Project based at the Cornelius Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
